To perform a thorough and systematic search, electronic databases including MEDLINE, CINAHL, Embase, PsycINFO, and Web of Science will be explored for studies published since 2010. 70 community-dwelling older adults with elevated depressive symptoms will be enrolled in a 20-week, two-arm, randomized controlled trial (RCT) with a crossover design and a waitlist control.
